WIND DING DAY


It is just another lazy day trying out new hot sauces and bbq sauces for review with some chicken wings. We have a new/old method that works very well for cooking these tasty appendages. We use an indirect cooking method with our cut-out Weber grate. The charcoal heat radiates from the center and circulates like a convection oven in this covered environment. No flareups, no burning, and no fuss. Easy, Peasy! What fun we have.

Where did you get the cutout Weber grill? That looks like such a good idea! I nearly burned some hamburgers a while back, trying to do them over a direct flame, so this would have been a wonderful thing to have!

Zoomie, You can order it directly from Weber or you can try a BBQ store. There still are a few basic rules to make it work correctly but you will love the results.

Three Dogs BBQ & Big Dude, You can get the same results with a regular grate. You just have to lift the grate to place the coals in the center. The cut-out grill is convenient and it has an insert with an enameled cast iron grate.

My grill came with the basket that holds the coals in the middle, but not the cutout grate. I will definitely get one of those! Thanks for the tip.
