Simple and delicious!
Ingredients
1 cup green onion
1 cup basil leaves
¼ cup lemon juice
2 cloves garlic
2 teaspoons anchovy paste
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 cup of mayonnaise

1 cup sour cream
Put the first 8 ingredients in a food processor and blend. Fold in sour cream.

I love Green Goddess, though I wouldn't use basil (just personal taste). And didn't you do it with avocado one time?
cookiecrumb, I seem to remember that but could not find it. This was a variation of a food network recipe. We have basil and it worked.
