We spent a glorious and tasty weekend judging two barbeque contests at the Santa Anita Race Track. This was the 8th Annual Winners Circle BBQ Championship. It is Monday morning and I am a little speechless so I will let the images do the talking. I hope you enjoy.
What a great two days of fun, sun and bbq. Congratulations to a two time Grand Champion and overall winner. Burn's & Loot'n bbq team. Wow.

Good to see you two got back OK; extra props for sticking around for awards over the marathon weekend. I may be wrong but consecutive-weekend GCs including a 709+ seems unprecedented for these parts. I am going to savor another 1 1/2 days down here before heading back to the rain... can't make Lodi due to travel so I'm guessing see you in Elk Grove next. Cheers!

Aaron, Scott Simpson is a very skilled driver and navigated I-5 dicing and slicing through the entitled snowflakes sitting the fast lane not yielding to faster traffic. With that said it was great to see you and the misses. Good times.

Big Dude, It was so worth it and plan to attend next year. This is the only reason we will travel to Southern California.
